The sessions will be offered via webinar in two separate tracks: a Representation Track and a Tax Track.  As the sessions are offered on different dates, the attendee has the option of registering for either or both sessions (tracks) or can choose specific days of either Track.   Registration information will be available soon. Tentatively each track offers up to 12 hours of CE.

Representation Track with Frank Agostino, Esq.

Frank Agostino is the founder and president of Agostino & Associates; P.C. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Agostino was an attorney with the Internal Revenue Service’s District Counsel in Springfield, Illinois and Newark, New Jersey. He also served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney, where he prosecuted primarily criminal tax cases. As an adjunct professor, Mr. Agostino taught tax controversy at Seton Hall University W. Paul Stillman School of Business and Rutgers School of Law. He also served as the co-director of the Rutgers Federal Tax Law Clinic.

Mr. Agostino is a frequent speaker and author on tax controversy and litigation matters. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Journal of Tax Practice and Procedure. Mr. Agostino is actively involved with the American Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers’ Association. Mr. Agostino is also the President of Taxpayers Assistance Corp., which provides tax and legal advice to low income taxpayers in the NY/NJ area.

David L. Mellem, EA & Mary R. Mellem, EA are the partners of Ashwaubenon Tax Professionals in the Green Bay WI area. They prepare about 1,200 tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts. 2020 represents David’s 42nd year & Mary’s 36th year of income tax preparation.

In addition to teaching tax seminars on the National speaking circuit and preparing tax returns, David and Mary provide research/consulting services for Federal taxmatters and ghost write full or partial taxreturns when fellow tax professionals get stumped.

David and Mary are tax references for many journalists including and They have been quoted in various newspapers around the country and have published articles in NATP’s Tax Practitioner Journal and NAEA’s EAJournal. David has been a guest panelist on the Tax Talk Today show sponsored by NAEA.

Both are members of NATP, NAEA and Fellows of NTPI. David is the past editor of the NAEA EA Journal and Mary has written the Client Newsletter for the NAEA EAJournal.


This event will be hosted via ZOOM meetings.  The NCSEA education committee has secured the services of a professional audiovisual (AV) company in order to ensure the first NCSEA Virtual Event is a great success!

The AV provider will deliver a customized training and best practice video for attendees.  This information will be sent to attendees one week prior to the event.
